Merry Christmas To All...

Christmas has come and gone in a blur this year. It doesn't seem like we had the house decorated or the tree up for more than a few minutes before it was time to take it down again. If not for our tree that turned into a shedding green porcupine in a matter of days, I would have hung on a little longer.

Christmas Eve began with Lily getting sick over breakfast at a Cracker Barrel and then again in the doctor's office. At least we were in the hands of a well seasoned physician whose first comment to us as she entered the exam room was "augh... don't get it on me, I don't want to get sick." Hmmm... a pediatrician who didn't realize she might come across a sick kid that day at work... awesome.

Sickness aside, Lily LOVED all things Christmas. I had a hard time even picking out an ornament for her because she loved all of it... Santa, Rudolph, the "Bumble" from Rudolph, Frosty, the Grinch, etc. etc. Christmas morning though, she was a little hesitant to go see her loot and just wanted to "eat bekfast" and "watch ginch." So that's what we did until she was ready to go at it. It was nice to take our time and just enjoy hanging out together.

Didn't love this one.
