Lily has had a big week. Granddad came to visit Saturday and we all went on a walk in the neighborhood. Lily slept the whole time. She also slept through her first trip to church. We had such a good time introducing her to all our friends and her future boyfriends.
Today we went to the doctor before taking Lily on her first shopping trip. She is right on track to gaining her weight back and was a healthy 7lbs 5oz. After the doctor, Grana and Mom took Lily on her first shopping trip.
Through it all she was quite the trooper, sleeping most of the time and always waiting until we get home - or at least in the car - to decide it's time to eat.

Lily is such a beautiful baby!! I know you guys are so proud. Benson has been going on and on about his new girlfriend. He does realize that he has a lot of competition, so he needs to step up his game!
Lily is just beautiful and we are so excited and pleased for all of you. We know that being parents will bring a joy like no other into your life. Michael & I both said that having a child was by far the BEST thing that we had ever done in our life. We love you all very much and are so happy for you.
